Order Entry Configurator

This course focuses on the set-up and use of the Order Entry Configurator.
Attendees will learn how to structure the model, create rules, set up master
files and execute the Order Entry Configurator.

Order Entry and Billing - Trade Allowances
Duration: 1 day
This course will teach the attendee the basic functionality and issues of Trade
Allowances and its impact on OB pricing and billing. Some of the issues covered
include System Control, Order Entry and Billing master files, Trade Allowances
off invoice and bill-back set up and their execution. This class will combine
both lecture and workshop. The attendees are expected to have knowledge of
Setup and Execution of the Order Entry and Billing application in PRMS™.
PRMS™
Order Entry and Billing Setup
Duration: 2 days
This course is a combination lecture and workshop that prepares the attendee to
make specific decisions regarding a company's policies and database setup for
order entry and billing. The attendee will establish and maintain the databases
as well as system control options. The focus is on learning the main database
files for distribution. Attendees will create each kind of master file record
and understand how the information in those files will be used.

This course is objective-driven and relies heavily on attendee participation
and workshops. The course prepares the attendee to perform any order entry and
billing function: entering and maintaining orders or quotes, performing
inquiries, creating reports, shipping and billing orders, performing
end-of-month processing, creating credit/debit memos and batch processing.
Integration with other applications will also be highlighted.

This course is a combination lecture and workshop that gives the attendee an
in-depth view of the key functions and features of the PRMS™ Fixed Assets
application.

Duration: 1 day
This course is a combination lecture and workshop course that gives the
attendee an in-depth view of the basic functions and features of the PRMS™
General Ledger application. Major features, company setup, other application
interfaces, basic journal entries, standard reports and inquiries will be
discussed.

Duration: 2 days
This course is a combination lecture and workshop that gives the attendee an
in-depth view of the key functions and features of the PRMS™ Accounts Payable
application. Major features and system options, database, system/program flow,
reports and inquiries and end-of-month processing will be highlighted.

This course is a combination lecture and workshop course that gives the

consolidations and currency will be discussed.

Conference Room Pilot
Duration: 1 day
This onsite class is normally presented by an implementation consultant before
you attend any PRMS™ specific application education courses relating to your
Conference Room Pilot. This class is provided to enhance your understanding of
the pilot process as it relates to your specific implementation goals. The
Pilot class includes a step-by-step review of the planning and execution phases
of a pilot. The class includes a review of necessary pre-pilot activities.
The class workbooks include detailed forms, worksheets and exercises to use in
organizing and conducting your pilot.
The exercises provide a hands-on walkthrough of the applications so that you
can learn and explore the system's capabilities. The materials also contain
formats to help you distribute responsibilities to the appropriate people in
the functional groups within your company.

Duration: 2 days
This course is a combination lecture and workshop that gives the attendee an
in-depth view of the key functions and features of the PRMS™ Payroll
application. Instruction will center around the payroll function: system setup,
data entry, payroll calculations, tax tables, reporting and shop floor
interface.

Duration: 1 day
This course is a combination lecture and workshop that gives the attendee an
in-depth understanding of the PRMS™ Human Resources data capture, storage and
reporting system. The application is designed to supplement the payroll
applications as the two systems share a common database.

MRP II Concepts
Duration: 2 days
This course discusses all significant manufacturing operations from a business
enterprise MRP II point of view. It relates these business operations directly
to the functional (module) operations of PRMS™. The focus is on integrating the
systems operations of PRMS™ as a tool to operate the enterprise business.
Topics of discussion include business planning, rough cut planning, scheduling,
level loading, operations simulation, sales forecasting, production
configuration control and selection, data base requirements regarding bills of
material, costs, processes and manufacturing environment, master scheduling,
distribution requirements planning (DRP) order and billing control and
processing, inventory control, capacity requirements planning (CRP), materials
requirement planning (MRP), production operations control, procurement control,
cost recognition and control.

This course is a combination lecture and workshop that gives the attendee an
in-depth understanding of the PRMS™ Forecasting Workbench. Many examples are
worked through to enhance understanding of forecasting methods.

This course is an overview and introduction to PRMS™ applications. It covers,
at a high level, the features and functions of each PRMS™ application, plus

Corporate and plant-level functions are defined and discussed for each PRMS™

requirements and multiplant as it affects MPS (without DRP), DRP, inventory,
interplant demand and shop floor execution.

of things that need to be considered when implementing the function.
