Nexgen adds distributors in Brazil and across Latin America

Naperville, IL – March 13, 1998 – Nexgen Software Technologies announced today the signing of distributors in Latin America to address the strong demand for Year 2000 solutions from BPCS® customers. Over 700 locations in Latin America use the BPCS® manufacturing software from System Software Associates, Inc. (Chicago, IL). Nexgen develops and markets Focus/2000, a software tool designed to quickly, completely, and cost-effectively solve the Year 2000 problem inherent in older versions of BPCS® software.

Nexgen Vice President of Latin American Operations, Jim Smith announced that BDO Directa of Sao Paulo, Brazil and Integra Solucoes of Caxias do Sul, Brazil have been named as authorized distributors and service providers for Nexgen’s suite of year 2000 products. "We are being inundated with requests for our Focus/2000 product line from BPCS® customers in Latin American," says Smith.
