PRMS™
Forum Opens on Internet
World
Wide Web Provides Site for User Q&A
Naperville,
IL PRMS™ users anywhere in the world can now enjoy the
benefits of sharing ideas and issues with other users year-round.
Anyone with access to the Internet World Wide Web can review
issues on-line and contribute their own comments or post a
new question. This free service is available 24 hours a day,
7 days a week, at http://www.nexgeninfo.com/PRMS/
The
software support internet site is the work of Nexgen Consulting,
a firm with a consulting practice specializing in the needs
of PRMS™ users. According to Nick Becker, General
Manager of Nexgen's PRMS™; business segment, "We
wanted to give PRMS users a place where they could have an
open exchange of ideas about how to really put the software
to work for them. In any given situation, a user might think
that their problem is unique, but in reality some other company
has already solved it, or at least developed a reasonable
workaround. This forum will help users find those solutions.
Also, if a user describes a problem where we can lend some
expertise, we'll pitch in with an answer, too."
Dan
Mitchell, Nexgen's President and Chief Technology Officer
adds, "With access to the internet becoming so widespread,
we thought that a lot of users would be able to participate
in the forum. This gives them a way to extend the user meeting
Round Tables throughout the year and throughout the world."
PRMS™
is an Enterprise Resource Planning software package from Computer
Associates International, Inc. Since 1990, Nexgen has drawn
upon its consultants' deep PRMS™ knowledge to provide
superior design, programming, and implementation services
to sites throughout the world.
